The Drop of Water

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Slow motion water droplets, at 2000 frames per second, this is the work of mathematician John Bush and others. For us it is both science and art, material and spiritual. Imagine, this happens billions of times a day!

Nature is an amazing teacher, through direct feedback and by analogy, if we simply use our imagination. I can imagine the drop of water being our own consciousness trying to become one with the Universe. Every time we try a part of us becomes one, but the rest is bounced back, only to try again. But, ultimately, all of us becomes one.

10 Days to Touch 10 Million: Your life matters…

This is a beautiful video presentation using the message of world famous teacher, Marianne Williamson about our greatest fear being our own innate divinity. Highly recommended.

Note from Bert: I keep a copy of Marianne Williamson’s famous quote above my desk. It was life-changing.

Paramhansa Yogananda “The Eyes of a Master”

Friday, November 6th, 2009

This is a slide show of pictures of Paramahansa Yogananda. The accompanying music is by Swami Kriyananda, of the Ananda Sangha group. Ananda is not associated with Self Realization Fellowship which was the official worldwide organization started by Yogananda to disseminate his teachings, but was started instead by Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Yogananda’s who left the original organization. They have created many beautiful tributes and works honoring Paramahansa Yogananda, and this video is a wonderful example. If you watch the great master’s face in these slides and listen to this excellent music you will feel the blessing of Yogananda’s presence.
